NYE 2012

I've already had that weird moment today where you go to write the date and it's like, oh my gosh, it's 2013!  It usually takes me until about March or April to get it down.

I had two dresses to choose from for the NYE party.

I so badly wanted to wear the sequined one which looked so festive.  Unfortunately, when I tried it on I realized I couldn't zip it up or down by myself and the bottom hem was fairly tight.  

We had a good laugh as I walked around the room like a geisha girl.  I decided it was best if I was able to use the ladies room without assistance.  It seemed like a good way to start the year.

From the party:

On new years day, we decided that it was bad luck to spend any money and instead cozied up by the fire watching movies (and football) and playing with Pacino. I made black-eyed peas (a yummy recipe I'll share soon) and worked on goal setting found here on Lara Casey's blog.
