My first weekend of the year was incredibly lazy and included lots of mugs of tea, thick comfy sweaters and curling up with soft throws. It was exactly what I needed.
I received the sweetest card from my oldest friend. I am so excited for her wedding in May. I was honored to be at her engagement in Paris and now I'm even more thrilled to be invited to stand next to her as she marries such a wonderful guy {not Channing Tatum as stated above}.
I had a night of movie watching and thank you writing.
I love when my dinner comes in it's own bowl.

fyi - Hope Springs is not a comedy as advertised.
I browsed my new recipe book, bought on sale from anthro. I'm so excited to start making things from it! Everything in it looks gorgeous and delicious. And I finished reading one of my Christmas presents - Gone Girl.
I worked more on my goal setting thanks to Lara.
I missed this guy who stayed in Walnut Creek for the weekend with Dan.
And I missed Dan too ;)

Hooray for cozy nights and popcorn dinners!
